Noctyrite Orbs are naturally occurring near-spherical black crystalline formations found in unusually high concentrations along The Onyx Strand. Individual Orbs may reach approximately 12 inches across. Korrik independently harvests and evaluates intact specimens, while selected Orbs supplied to Thonar can be engineered into advanced weapons whose activated energy appears as a deep-black core or beam bordered by an extremely thin brilliant-white edge.
