Virellus

Virellus is a long-term internal parasite that turns a living host into a protected biological habitat while leaving the host’s mind intact. Once integrated, he regulates wounds, circulation, temperature, and other bodily systems to keep the host strong and alive. Over time, that protection can become dependence until removing Virellus may be more dangerous than allowing him to remain.
