The Wilds constantly observe, absorb, and evolve from all living things that enter them. Organisms exposed to the realm for extended periods often undergo biological mutation:
-
glowing nervous systems
-
altered perception
-
emotional synchronization
-
dream-linked hallucinations
Many entities born within the Wilds display unnatural elegance:
beautiful forms hiding predatory intelligence.
Lumen Entities rarely attack immediately.
Instead, they study.
Some feed on fear.
Others manipulate memory or dreams.
A few appear capable of influencing entire emotional states across surrounding lifeforms.
Deep within the realm stand colossal crystal structures believed to predate all known dimensional history. These structures emit frequencies that affect both biology and consciousness.
Several expeditions vanished attempting to reach them.
The only surviving transmission recovered from the interior of the Wilds stated:
“The forest is learning our thoughts.”
Since then, dimensional authorities classified the Lumen Wilds as deceptively stable.
The realm does not destroy intruders.
It changes them.
“Life evolved beyond natural law.”
At first glance, the Lumen Wilds appear beautiful.
That illusion has consumed countless explorers.
The realm is covered in endless bioluminescent ecosystems:
-
glowing forests
-
crystalline vegetation
-
floating spores
-
radiant rivers
-
living storms that illuminate entire skies
Unlike the other realms, the Lumen Wilds do not appear damaged or corrupted.
They appear perfected.
Every organism within the Wilds evolved through accelerated dimensional adaptation. Life does not merely survive there — it continuously transforms.
Plants react to emotion.
Predators communicate psychically.
Entire ecosystems behave as if connected by a single consciousness.
Researchers eventually discovered the horrifying truth:
The realm itself may be alive.
